The caregivers sterilize the cats they can catch to manage the population, as continuously feeding a growing colony isn’t sustainable.
One day, while distributing food to the cats, a tiny puppy emerged from a box, eagerly wagging his tail and helping himself to the cat food. The caregivers searched for signs of the puppy’s mother or siblings but found none, leading them to believe the puppy had been abandoned by someone who couldn’t care for him.
They named the friendly puppy Zhorik. He was trusting of both humans and his feline companions, full of sweetness.
His rescuers took him to the vet for a checkup, where he was treated for parasites and received his vaccinations. They then began the search for a forever home for him.
